Porcupine Tree is back in the US doing a fall tour, if you have the chance, go see Gavin Harrison.

Dude you are so the man for giving me the heads up on this tour. I checked thier home page a bunch of times and there was no tour in Los Angeles. I guess they just released these dates. I'm going to the House Of Blues in Los Angeles this Saturday. Dude you so hooked me up. I love this band to death. Galvin makes the band. Without his playing it would not be so driving and interesting to listen to. He is so freaking musical. I can't wait till this Saturday. I hope they play a ton of Deadwing and In Absentia. Stupid Dream is also great even though it was released in like 93. I just got into PT this summer via my brother. This band is a gem man. Once again thanks for the heads up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got In Absentia and Deadwing recently and both are good. I like In Absentia better. Deadwing is about 50% good but the other half leaves me a bit cold.

I think Gavin is good! I would just like to hear him in something else. I'll have to look for his solo disc.

Saw PT last night at the House of Blues in Hollywood and they rocked. Gavin played very musical with the band. Didn't blow me away with his chops. They sounded great at this venue. The last tune Trains just made the night. Can't wait to see them again next year around June. If PT comes around your area go see them!!!
